Copyright Protection Notice

DesignMultiverse is a digital marketplace where independent vendors may upload and sell digital design resources. We take intellectual property concerns seriously and may take appropriate action when credible copyright complaints are received.

01

Respect for Intellectual Property

DesignMultiverse respects the intellectual property rights of creators, designers, businesses, brands, and copyright owners.

Users and vendors may only upload, distribute, modify, publish, or sell content that they legally own or have the necessary permission, license, or authorization to use and distribute.

Our Marketplace Principle

If you did not create a design or do not have appropriate rights to distribute it, you should not upload or sell it on DesignMultiverse.

02

Copyright Ownership

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that products uploaded to DesignMultiverse do not infringe copyright, trademark, design rights, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.

By uploading a product, the vendor represents that:

  • They own the content being uploaded; or
  • They have obtained the necessary permissions, licenses, or rights to distribute the content; and
  • Their use and distribution of the content is consistent with the applicable license or authorization.
Vendor Responsibility

Uploading content to DesignMultiverse does not transfer ownership of that content to DesignMultiverse. Vendors remain responsible for the rights associated with their submitted products.

03

Prohibited Copyright Content

The following types of content are prohibited unless the uploader has valid rights or authorization allowing the intended use:

Examples of Prohibited Content
  • Copyrighted material uploaded without permission.
  • Pirated templates, designs, graphics, or digital files.
  • Unauthorized copies of paid products.
  • Trademark-infringing material.
  • Content copied from another marketplace or website without authorization.
  • Modified versions of copyrighted products where the modification or distribution is not authorized.
  • Content obtained through unauthorized downloads, leaks, or redistribution.

Reported content may be temporarily restricted or removed while a complaint is reviewed or where action is otherwise appropriate.

04

DMCA Takedown Requests

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe that material available through DesignMultiverse infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright infringement notice through our official contact channels.

DM

Information to Include

To help us review a copyright complaint efficiently, the notice should include sufficient information such as:

Your full name and contact information.
Identification of the copyrighted work.
The URL or exact location of the allegedly infringing material.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
A statement that the information provided is accurate.
Your physical or electronic signature.
Helpful Information

Providing a direct product URL, product name, vendor information, and clear identification of the protected work can help us understand and process the complaint.

05

Content Review Process

When DesignMultiverse receives a copyright complaint, we may review the information provided and take appropriate action based on the circumstances.

Depending on the situation, DesignMultiverse may:

  • Review the reported product or material.
  • Request additional information from the complainant.
  • Request information or clarification from the vendor.
  • Temporarily restrict access to reported content.
  • Remove content where appropriate.
  • Take action against an account where repeated or serious infringement is identified.

Review and response times may vary depending on the completeness and complexity of the information received.

06

Counter Notification

If a vendor believes that content was removed because of a mistake, misidentification, or another valid reason, the vendor may contact DesignMultiverse and provide information supporting their position.

A counter-notification or restoration request may include:

  • Vendor name and contact information.
  • Identification of the removed product or material.
  • An explanation of why the removal was believed to be incorrect.
  • Evidence of ownership, licensing, authorization, or other relevant rights.
  • A good-faith statement explaining the vendor's position.
Review Before Restoration

Submitting a counter-notification does not automatically restore removed content. DesignMultiverse may review the information provided before deciding whether further action is appropriate.

07

Repeat Infringers

DesignMultiverse may take account-level action when a vendor or user is repeatedly involved in credible or confirmed copyright infringement.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable requirements, actions may include:

  • Product removal.
  • Restriction of product uploads.
  • Temporary account suspension.
  • Permanent account termination.
  • Other appropriate marketplace restrictions.
  • Withholding of unpaid earnings where permitted by applicable law and marketplace terms.
08

Marketplace Liability & Vendor Responsibility

DesignMultiverse operates as a digital marketplace where independent vendors may upload and offer digital products.

Vendors remain responsible for the legality, originality, licensing, and intellectual property rights associated with their uploaded content.

DesignMultiverse does not claim ownership of vendor-submitted content merely because it is uploaded to the marketplace.

Important Distinction

A vendor's responsibility for uploaded content remains separate from DesignMultiverse's operation of the marketplace and its handling of copyright complaints.

09

False, Misleading or Fraudulent Claims

Copyright complaints should be submitted only by copyright owners or authorized representatives with a legitimate basis for the claim.

Submitting false, misleading, abusive, or fraudulent copyright claims may result in account restrictions and may have legal consequences under applicable law.

Good-Faith Requirement

Before submitting a complaint, the claimant should reasonably verify the relevant ownership, authorization, product information, and alleged infringement.

10

Evidence & Cooperation

In some cases, DesignMultiverse may request additional information or documentation from the complainant or vendor to help evaluate a copyright dispute.

Relevant information may include:

  • Original files or evidence of creation.
  • Copyright registration information where applicable.
  • Licensing agreements or permissions.
  • Purchase or authorization records.
  • URLs or screenshots identifying the disputed material.
  • Other information reasonably relevant to the complaint.

Providing complete and accurate information can help reduce unnecessary delays in the review process.

11

Policy Updates

DesignMultiverse may modify or update this Copyright & DMCA Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our marketplace, services, legal requirements, or copyright enforcement practices.

Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Stay Informed

Vendors and users are encouraged to review this policy periodically, especially before uploading or distributing new digital content through the marketplace.
